WebRTC connection test
Are your camera, microphone and network ready for video calls? The test runs entirely in your browser; nothing is stored unless you ask for it.
During the test your browser will ask for camera and microphone permission. Your camera image and voice stay on this page and are never sent anywhere.
Frequently asked questions
The test says "UDP blocked" — what should I do?
Your network (usually a corporate firewall or VPN) is blocking UDP traffic. Video calls can still be established through a TURN server over TCP/TLS 443, but asking your network administrator to open UDP 3478 and the UDP 49152-65535 range for STUN/TURN gives the best results.
Camera permission shows "denied" but I did allow it.
Browsers remember the permission per site. Reset the camera/microphone permission for this site from the padlock icon in the address bar and run the test again. On macOS and Windows your browser must also have camera access granted at the operating system level.
Does this test store my data?
No. The test runs entirely in your browser and the result is only saved if you choose "create a shareable link". A saved result contains no IP address, no browser identifier (User-Agent) and no device names — only permission outcomes, device counts and network class, and it is deleted automatically after 30 days.
Does the test really use your TURN server?
The browser test only uses STUN — we do not hand out TURN credentials, because those credentials are a general-purpose relay authorisation and share the same quota as our customer calls. The health of our TURN infrastructure is measured separately on the server and shown as its own line.
